Conservationist, author and broadcaster Ajay Tegala will talk to Michael J. Warren, author, medievalist and naturalist, about his life and his book The Cuckoo’s Lea.

Ajay Tegala was brought up in the Deepings and has become a wildlife television and podcast presenter, author, ranger and conservationist. He has a degree in Environmental Conservation and over a decade of experience working in the sector. Ajay is a natural communicator, his knowledge and infectious enthusiasm are always well received by television companies and audiences. He is also a respected voice-over artist.

Michael J. Warren teaches English in Chelmsford, was formerly an honorary research fellow at Birkbeck College and chair of the steering group for New Networks for Nature. He is currently a trustee for Curlew Action, as well as a patron for John Clare Countryside. Michael curates The Birds and Place Project, a website devoted to collecting and recording the birds of English place names, and is a Guardian Country Diary contributor.
