Steve Holt is a local author whose debut book Passes Down the Line provides a hilarious insight into one-man’s thinking about football. During his time as Chairman of The Posh he learnt a new vocabulary under the tutelage of Barry Fry. Steve tells his own story, exploring the connections between three clubs—Lincoln City, Manchester United and Peterborough United—that played a pivotal role in his life. It all started with his Great-great Uncle Fred, who played for Lincoln City in the Victorian era, and brings us up to date with the changes that the pandemic has brought to the beautiful game.
Steve is now enjoying giving many interactive book talks with audiences handling historic football memorabilia, enjoying a quiz mid-talk and engaging in lively Q&A sessions.
