Guinevere Glasfurd’s first novel, The Words In My Hand, was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award and the Authors’ Club best First Novel Award and longlisted for Le Prix du Roman FNAC. Her work has been supported with awards from from Arts Council England, the British Council and the Society of Authors. She is a MacDowell Colony Fellow and spent six weeks in New Hampshire in 2017/18 working on her second novel. Guin has an interest in the arts and works collaboratively with artists and fine art photographers in the UK and South Africa. Originally from the north of England, she lives on the edge of the Fens with her husband and daughter.
